Difficulty: 8.5 miles one way (shuttle back), 3900 feet
Preparation: This is usually done as a one-way hike from top to bottom, as it's both physically and logistically easier that way. We did it the other way for the exercise.
Summary: Lots of great views. For the lazy, one can probably get a similar experience with just the Mist Trail and driving up to Glacier Point. 4/5
