Advertisement: This is a leisurely coastal hike with plentiful opportunities to climb around on sea-eroded rock and hang out on beaches. You can go as far as you like.

Difficulty: About three miles to Fisk Mill, maybe four to Horseshoe Point, mostly flat. The social trail is easy to follow, and often the road is not far off.
Preparation: Wear long pants (some parts of the trail are a bit overgrown), watch for ticks, and if you venture off on the beach make sure you can make it back (i.e. watch the tide).
Summary: A good leisurely hike, far from the crowds of any major city. Views are typical of the California coast, but the rock formations at Salt Point are cool. 3/5
