Advertisement: Sutton Mountain is all about off-trail hiking and finding your own way. The vegetation is sparse due to the dry climate. Hit the peak or just explore, it's totally up to you. We were trying for Sutton Mountain but we got sidetracked and ended up on a peak adjacent to Packsaddle Mountain.
